Gold. I love it. I think I've said that a few times around here. But gold can be tricky. How many times have you been afraid to purchase that paint for a project? Afraid of how it will really look. Not too yellow and not too orange. Well if you feel the same way I have the perfect gold spray paint just for you!
I hope you have all had a relaxing and enjoyable summer so far. I am happy to be back from a much needed summer break. I must admit I didn't do much relaxing but spending some time with my boys and finishing up some neglected house projects was very fulfilling! I am ready to get back to crafting and I wanted to start this week off with a fun little series all about Gold. Do you ever wonder what the best gold thread is or which gold paint will be the color you are looking for. I am going to share some of my favorites here this week and plenty of ideas to go along with them. To start things off I made a Hello card with a Giant greeting! No stamps required! Even though they are my favorite crafting supply- sometimes I just can't find what I'm thinking of. Keep reading to see how I created this card.
I remember the first time I picked up a stamp - inked it and put it on paper! It was 20 years ago and I will never forget thinking " this was the best thing I've ever tried" Really! I thought that and not only that but I instantly understood the possibilites one little stamp could create! So here it is 1 Stamp - 3 Ideas. I hope you will see how easy it is to make those stamp sets of yours worth every penny!
Today I am sharing my love for 2 things. Stationary and Butterflies. I could spend hours in a paper store just drooling over the stationary sets. There is something about the way the are all packaged up that just makes me feel the need to have them. I collect anything butterfly that I can find when it comes to paper or stamps and I'm dying to make a wall of framed Butterflies and Pinterest has just encouraged my obsession with them lately. Such a fun trend!! The packaging for this is simple. I just used a little gift box approx 4x5 - stacked my envelopes and cards inside and embellished the cover to match the notecards.
